BIOCHAR
A "side effect" of the POWER COB process is creation of biochar
- a valuable substance that rebuilds the soil and binds CO2 from the atmosphere.

Corn cob cores are characterized by very good energy properties as a substrate for biogas production. The methane yield of corn cob cores can be as high as 240 m3/Mg dry mass at a hydraulic retention time (HRT) of 30. Biogas produced from corn cob cores is also characterized by a high methane content, averaging over 56%.
